"I hear my neighbors making love upstairs" is how the words of this song start, and you can kind of see where its going to go from there, but the journey is wonderful, regretful and a bit whimsical. Rachel Price has been on "stage" with us a few times over the years and she is one of those rare voices who has you pretty much in the palm of her hand from the first word.
I don't know what this music is really, or where it comes from, but I think Nick Lowe would like it. Its not as precise as the music he's making now, but this is youthful work and Lake Street Dive have a lot of ideas to explore. We were surprised that Ward Hayden picked this one to sing since he's more solidly in the country-rock world, but we were hoping someone would since its one of our favorites.
